It's time for our annual February Fundraising Frenzy!  This month, we are asking CYO students and families to help us fundraise for our program.  CYO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  As a non-profit, we rely heavily on donations to run our program.  Donations go towards providing scholarships for students in need, purchasing supplies and music and paying for our rehearsal space and concert venues.  A local vanilla bean company, IndriVanilla, has generously committed to match individual donations up to $3,000 during the month of February!  

How you can help:   

1.  Share our fundraising posts on your Facebook and Instagram pages.  CYO Facebook page and CYO Instagram page.

2.  Text and email our Zeffy and Venmo links or QR codes to your family and friends: https://www.zeffy.com/peer-to-peer/cyo-2025-february-fundraising-frenzy                   

3.  Encourage CYO orchestra students to call grandparents, aunts, uncles and close friends.  Have them share what CYO means to them and tell them about this amazing fundraising opportunity.  

4.  If you own a business or know of a business who might be interested in participating in the match for this fundraiser or if you or someone you know would like to donate prizes, please contact us by replying to this email.  

5.  We are encouraging those who wish to make a donation to do so on the Zeffy fundraiser.  Zeffy is similar to Venmo or GoFundMe, except they do not charge any fees, so CYO will receive 100% of the donations collected.   Donors may also mail CYO a check t PO Box 311, Providence, UT 84332.  Since we are an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations may be tax deductible. 

6.  Please track all your donations on the attached Donation Tracking Sheet.  The tracking sheets and all donations are due by Monday, March 3rd.  All students who have at least one $10 donation will be entered into a drawing on Monday, March 10th.  Prizes will include gift certificates from local businesses.  One of our grand prizes (a drawing for those who receive at least $100 in donations) will include a signed mini-helmet from Bronco Mendenhall, the USU football coach!
